TALKS ABOUT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE CITY

On the base of obligation arising from the low on Local-self government and Statute of City of Nis, in the hall of Nis` Cultural Centre of City Municipality of Palilula, it was held talk about Work version of Development Program of City of Nis for 2011 that is made in Administration of Economy, Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection – Department for Sustainable Development. To this meeting, except representatives of departmental administration and members of the Council and Assembly of City Municipality of Palilula, attended and interested citizens of Palilula, which are in discussion and concrete proposals gave contribute of making of an objective analysis of achieved level of development and defining of priorities in development of Municipality. It was agreed that until the end of this week can be and in written form deliver proposals for amendment of Program. Zorica Stoiljkovic, member of Council of Palilula Municipality thanked to the organizers of promotion of Program for opportunity to be heard voice of the citizens and thus take the responsibility for future development of Municipality – City.

Planning of development of the City, defining of Strategy of development as basic development document, as and following documents necessary for operationalization of Strategy is one of basica and necessary condition of development. Therefore Nis adopted a Strategy of development of the city of Nis, whose implementation is realizing with concretization and defining of activity annually – Annual Development Program. Within Strategy of Development of the City of Nis for the period 2009-2020, according to Dragan Karlicic, head of Administration of Economy, Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection, it is defined four main strategic direction of development with the strategic goals of the end point of origin – achieving the vision of future Nis.
